Another Vanagon project has popped up. If I can sell my baby for near what I have in her, I'll let her go and start a new one. This is a perfect Vanagon for someone wanting a fully sorted I-4 conversion, now. * 1991 GL. white with gray body skirts. 150,000 miles * 2001 TIICo I-4 conversion: engine is fully sorted and runs great. No overheating issues. Has the 80 degree thermostat. Engine has a remote oil cooler installed (SS hose and fittings used). 15,000 miles on engine. * Body perfect, except for 2 things: crack on front fiberglass bumper on passenger side. Tiny bit of rust under rear window seal (have a new seal, just haven't gotten around to changing it yet). * Automatic transmission rebuilt in 9/02 (yes, this month) * H-4 headlights, done correctly with high and low beam relays. * Jumpseat behind drivers seat, also have the 2 person forward-facing middle seat. * Swivel installed on passenger side front seat * Interior in perfect shape. Interior redone in birch (wood panels). * New Dunlop radial rover tires. This van runs great. Will do 80 mph on the highway with a roof full of boats, all day long.
Van in Connecticut. $10k, somewhat negotiable. email bob.spooner @middletownpower.com with questions |
