Anyone with experience and/or opinion, please respond. I have a 1985 GL with a frozen inner piston on my driver side front caliper. FLAPS can sell me two Girling calipers for about $30 each or one of the "other" kind for $60. I seem to have the "other" installed as my Bentley says the Girlings have circlips on the pad retaining pins; mine do not. I'm thinking, "might as well replace them both for the same price. What could possibly go wrong?" Maybe the Girling's aren't any good? Maybe they aren't direct replacements? Maybe the mounting isn't the same? Does any lister know for sure? TIA. Kelley |
