"I am a research technician--I am used to solving these difficult problems for the PhDs!" Jay I'm not sure if I'm laughing out loud or outside, but man am I laughing. Jay, help me figure it out ;>) (couldn't resist-fryedaye) The real reason for posting: I just had the Old Man Emu shocks installed (too lazy to do it on my Syncro myself). Whew...what a stability difference. Drove 40 miles of freeway from Ogden back to Salt Lake. Vee Dub (Ed Rogers) did it. Stability at 80 with related wind stuff and those small road surface changes. Very big difference. Have to see how it is fully loaded for camping. May add the Syncro springs?? I like it. P.S.: Ed's one of "us". Had about 4 or 5 vans, 2 are Syncro's that he's in various stages of project completion. His '86 Syncro is real nice. Anyone in this area needing any kind of van or vw help, I recommend him.
