I drive my van 3,000 miles/year. I change the oil once a year. No leaks.
Dry as a bone for 11 years. I got my van back from my trusty service
garage. Ever since I have a small stain of oil on my driveway. The SOBs
have stripped the GD drain plug ! I have glanced over the many messages
of stripped drain plugs, but need advice. What is the best way to
approach my garage on this matter? Play no nothing motorist and ask
what's the new oil puddle? Or go after them and demand the fix ! Can the
base be re threaded with a tap? How big a deal is a Heli-coil to
install. Thanks
