I don't know if this is the same as the benches I've seen on dokas. But the ones I have and have seen require a rear support for the seatback. In other words, you will REQUIRE mods to fit in a typical Vanagon. Correct me if I'm wrong but normally Vanagons & Westies have walkthrough interiors. In other words, no rear divider wall which would be needed for the seatback support for the middle passenger.
