This same generator has been available at Home Depot at a similar price.  My
friend from Ohio bought one and we took it with us to the Great Plains Star
Party.  We only used it once... to power a microwave.  The rest of the time
we relied upon the solar panel on my Westy.  The generator performed well,
but it was a bit noisy.  I would hesitate using it in a camping area with a
lot of campers nearby who were in the woods for the peace and quiet.

On the other hand, I've heard the 1 kw Honda generator -- or rather, not
heard it.  It's extremely quiet... but it's also much more costly.

BTW... Our Komet side tent was a real luxury on this campout.  We cooked in
the tent and generally used it to get out of the sun and to store equipment.
