I glued in a piece of thin plastic (from a bread bag clip) so that the shaft could not work its way out. If you need a digi-pic I can try and get a photo of what I did.

On a similar note, In fiddling with my odometer, I accidentally turned it from 200,000 kms to 300,000 kms. Does anyone know how to rotate the odo numbers so that I can get back to 200,000?? thanks, Malcolm
