Subject: 91 Westy distributor rotor stuck...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hello everyone,

I was checking the repair history of my 91 Westy and found that the distributor rotor probably has never been replaced. I was trying to replace it with a new one. That should be an easy job, I thought. But I am having problem remove the old rotor from its place. I was looking at the new rotor, there should be nothing that is holding the rotor from the bottom. I use a screwdriver attempting to lift the rotor arm to make it loose, but I broke one side of the arm. I think I have done enough damage for the day. Please, anyone know what happen to the rotor? Is there a button that I have to push to loosen the rotor? How can I remove the rotor without causing any damage to the distributor? Any thought will be appreciated.
