Subject:      What is sensor on power steering pipe for?

Hi All,

I was puttering around in the engine compartment of my 87 Westy and noticed
some sort of sensor with two wires on it that was on one of the metal pipes
that is attached to the power steering pump. Any one know what that sensor
is for?
