Subject: 85 Vanagon and water temperature gauge.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hello to all my list friends...

(I know this is probably in the archives, but I want to be sure I'm up to date)

I want to install a water temperature gauge in my 85 Water-cooled Vanagon. I see them available at my auto parts store at a reasonable price. They come with a cable (so called capillary) that connects somehow into the cooling system. Can anyone offer some info on how you install a temp. gauge and what size fittings I need?

Thanks and regards;

-peter-
