Actually, I just checked it out and it does have a built-in diode for reverse current protection. As long as there is some charging going on and no battery drain, I'm happy. Thanks for the heads up.

Be careful--they cheap ones do not have a diode to keep them from
discharging at night. Use only in the daylight. I have one of these. It
only puts out 125 mA on a sunny day.

Funny you should post this, I just paid $29.99 for a very similar item at
my local auto parts chain about 20 minutes ago. It's a bit smaller, but
both are trickle chargers so I doubt the difference in output would be
substantial.
