Subject: wierd interior in '87 ebay syncro.......

I enlarged the photo to get a closer look at some details. This is a tan side panel and table from a poptop Westy Wolfy of 85/86/87. It has been force fitted into a tan interior passenger model. If you look closely at the rear of the side panel you can see a number of extra screws holding the panel to the wall (where the rear seat back meets the rear seat bottom.) There is a stress buckle from this in the side panel at the back edge of the rear armrest recess. This was done because this type of plastic side panel needs a special narrower rear bench/bed and they did not have one and they had to improvise. I wonder if the bed can even be folded out with this setup. Another clue is the small exposed metal area at the lower left area of the side panel where it meets the below seat kick panel. The correct lower kick panel for this side panel sticks out farther and would cover this spot.

The jump seat upholstery must have been dyed or recovered as these only came in one of 3 different grey based fabric styles AFAIK.
