Hi Loretta,

The 95/102* thermal cooling fan switch is located at the lower right corner of the radiator WHEN FACING the front of the Vanagon.

You wrote that the lower thermostat housing "melted" in a previous engine overheat situation. How can the engine still function if the coolant temp was high enough to melt the t/stat housing? This makes no sense!!!!!!!!!! Please explain!
