ouch!! i had assumed that the fox had the same engine as the jetta in those years. but after checking the listing at http://www.volkswagen.org/EngineSwap and my Bently for my jettas i was way off. the fox stayed with its underpowered engines for its entire time. I am looking at moving a jetta RV engine rated at 100 hp. mostly for design challenge but i probably wont do it to my AC 82 westy. jimt On Tuesday, Sep 24, 2002, at 21:06 America/Denver, Mike Garske wrote:
