So i was replacing all the seals in my gas tank today (crossover tube, fuel guage, etc), and umm... "noticed" we'll call it, that the drivers side expansion tank has broken nipples. What is the purpose of this tank? Does it just catch fumes, or does actual liquid gas go all the way up there? (i can't imagine that being the case) Is this something that can be (temporarily) effectively repaired with just a couple bucks worth of parts, or is original equipment replacement necessary before i do any miles? As always, thanks for the input. -Damon
