While I agree with this, it is important to note that the best information I have suggests that the oil entry point must be above the oil sump level. Even though it seems that VW enters the pan below the oil static level, my information says this leads to turbo bearing replacement at frequent intervals. On my system I am using a mini sump and a scavenge pump to properly clear the line.
