Leave Gomer's pyles out of it...

I park my van on a level stretch of road, about 7-10m (20-30') behind a car (sedan), exactly parallel to the curb, and adjust the lights until they shine directly forward and the low-beam cutoff is just below the back window of the car. Blank one light off while working on the other. It helps to do this at night... Then I do a test-drive and ensure that my low-beam cutoff is correct on the move.

This works fine and passes the 6-monthly "warrant-of-fitness' tests we have here. -- Andrew Grebneff 165 Evans St, Dunedin 9001, New Zealand <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut
