The 253-070-506 is the correct # for the USA model with the outlet built in, however technically speaking, it was obsoleted by VW/Westfalia in 1984 and was superseded/sold now as 255-070-521. GoWesty just never updated the number on their end.

Actually I should have been a bit more thorough in giving you the latest part numbers....the numbers I gave you were what originally was equipped on the Canadian Westy. The 253-070-506A & 506C were replaced with:

255-070-521A Receptacle w/Lid (Black)

Remember, this is just the plastic receptacle (all three numbers above) that allowed the cord to just pass thru, it didn't included the cord which had to be purchased separately (they never sold it as a complete assembly at VW)

The cord part number is still the same: 231-070-533
