Hi Volks,

The lady and I are planning a December trip down to Baja, Mexico. Figger if the whales are doing it there might be something to it.

We have no itinerary at this juncture, and since you were all so helpful with Victoria BC, thought I'd ask 'bout this one.

Basically we're driving from Seattle on down, haven't decided when to head for the coast yet.

Things I'm wondering about are places to stay and be (Anyone know a good cheap spot in Portland OR we're gonna be there and check out Powell's)

What to expect and what to watch out for.

I'll be taking the Manatee, and using a propane stove, right now I'm assuming most of the ongoing supplies will, if this is not true please enlighten me.
