Subject:      More 'orrible gbox noises - any advice

Following the saga of dry, orrible sounds from my Syncro transaxle, I'd just got a couple of miles up the road when 'something seemed to happen'. It was like a nut coming undone and a bit of a shudder developed. Drove it back with gurgling sounds, not too bad. When idling in neutral, sounds like a rattling coming from the front - forward drive to (removed) propshaft.

Ok, tell me, its time it came out?
