I know what you mean mike, Is this just a cali thing, or is there a worldwide trend of bus owners not waving at each other any more? Even on some of my longer road trips (cali to alaska), i rarely get that friendly hello. When i was a kid riding in the same '84 westy i have now, it was always a competition of who could flash their lights the fastest, or who could get more people to wave, and it was simply weird when they didn't wave... Is it just because everyone is too worried about their aging vans to get their eyes of their guages/digitools/temp needle etc. to look up at other VWs any more? Just curious, -Damon (always waves) (of course, i doubt this list is the best place to ask why you don't partake of the vanagon culture... :-) Mike Miller wrote:Most van owners in Ca don't wave.
