When I did my SA grill upgrade, I got a switch from Busdepot that fits the blank by the flasher switch. It appears to be interchangable with the headlight switch, and has a working bulb. Check with Ron. Perhaps you could just replace your non-lighted switch with this one. The bulb lights when it is on.
