Dear Volks, For what it's worth, being a newbie myself and all... I *have* researched the archives on some topics. For instance, I found a wealth of information on which type of coolant to use, etc. Thing is, I'm using a dial up. I begin at the beginning of the archives and blow through to the current postings and it took me about four hours to read it all. (Granted, I'm on a slower technology). Anyway, I finally posted to the group because I wanted to get a snapshot of the group consciousness in "current time" abour coolant (red, blue, green, pink?) and got a very simple, succinct and gentle answer that was more helpful than combing through years of archives. Furthermore, why call this a discussion group if one can't jump in, say howdy, and ask a few questions? Newbies need to get up to speed. The archives is only a start. Lurking in the background like I've been doing is another way, too. I appreciate all the senior experience and knowledge. This list so rocks. Please let sophomores be who they are and help us find our way. Love and Rockets, DaBomb |
