Her machine had been infected for seven months at the time (it was the one that put up a little fireworks display if you ran it -- Good Times? I forget) -- but she used AOL which doesn't go through the regular TCP/IP stack and wasn't affected. I installed a "real" mailer, and guess where I sent my first message... cheers, david
