No maybe about it...lights are very voltage-sensitive. A rough rule of thumb for 110vac incandescent bulbs near their operating point is that visible light output goes up with the *fourth power* of the voltage input. Unfortunately, life goes down with the *fifteenth power* of the voltage, gulp. That's why photoflood bulbs have a working life of one hour... So beef up the wires, expect noticeably more light and noticeably less life from the bulb. david
