Having been to LeMans for the big race (in 1979), watching those gorgeous Porsches screaming down the Maussaun (SP?) straight, I noticed the exhausts were RED hot, not the tires. And yes, they do run 140(mph) alot on the autobahns in Germany. Me myself use to run 135(kph) on 165/80 15's in my 71 Volvo 144. Sometimes I wonder how I survived growing old. tim in san jose P.S.
