Just what I knew all along. In six years I've never had a cooling system problem in my I-4 powered Westfalia- and it isn't due to luck. That's a big radiator!

New pump, hoses, and regular maintenance and I found that water-cooled isn't so much trouble over air-cooled after all. You just have to maintain it.

Once I had a problem - a rock wedged in the water-pump pulley and chewed the belt off, stranding me in the mountains for two days. Of course for me, being stranded in the mountains doesn't happen often enough, living here in the crowded lowlands.
