I have the book and the recipes that look most appropriate (admittedly tenuous) for this list are:

"Bento Boxster" (author couldn't find the engine, settled for bento box of sushi)

"safe at any speed stuffed eggplant" ("if you handle it right you won't have to turn it over")

"East German car cooking: pre-unification and East German car cooking: post-unification" (post-uni is better)

and one for Joel:

"Curmudgeon's Capered Lamb" (begins with a bit of a rant about the way cars are nowadays)
