Subject: Anyone want a Dealer Price Book?
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

I do a lot of parts buying at our local dealer. When they upgrade to the latest and greatest Dealer Price Book, I usually get their leftover book. So I got my June 2002 book today. I am a happy camper but now I have four older books here that I really don't need. So I was wondering if anyone out in list land would want one. I have 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1997 books. I will give them away to the next four list members that call me and order some parts or place an order through the webstore (you could order 4 oil filters for $17 if you really didn't need something). If your order is over $100 the 5% list discount will apply.

These dealer price books are handy to give you an idea of what the VW dealer list is for an item so that you don't wind up paying more for it (some dealers mark up their parts above list) or so you can plan ahead on how much something is going to be for a repair. It would also save time calling the dealer to get prices on certain items that you may or may not want to purchase (based on how much they cost).

It is a white book about 8 x 11 and about an inch thick. It contains the price list for all of the VW models sold here in the US.
