Jay,

I am with you on this one.

>I can not believe you are using a toilet >paper oil filter. Toilet paper is for wiping your a**. Jay

I use the system, and it has been as advertised, well made, well documented . The link http://www.fuelpolishing.com/msg3.htm is all I could find, i.e. no direct web site, as they sell only to vendors. Anyway this link may help establish some credibility, and offer another source for those wanting a submicronic system. Until this recent thread on oil pressure I've not had issue to be concerned with the filter system. In fact the issue of needing to run synthetic, i.e. resistance to acids formation in the oil ,since the oil is not changed, but topped up with about 3/4 quart at filter change to replace what the filter has absorbed and also the additive package of the new oil reinforces the existing oil's additives. But with the thin base of most synthetic is what troubles me, especially since the motor is at 115 k. I'd like to just find a thicker based synthetic for engines like the boxer.

Sincerely,

Mark Keller 91 Carat
