my 82 westy with slightly undersized tires doesnt read that high at those rpms. havent been up to that speed for a few weeks but if i remember right my speedo and tach both hit max/red at the about the same time which would mean about 80 at 5k and 70 at about 4100 on my speedo/tach. jimt On Thursday, Oct 3, 2002, at 18:42 America/Denver, Vanagon man wrote:
