Leon, When I went to Baja in Feb, 2001, I carried 80 liters of fuel on the luggage rack. I donšt think the weight was any issue at all for the rack but having the weight that high up really effected handling. I could feel it when I turned. After a day with it on the roof, I put it in the back of my friends truck. I don't know if this helps but you can factor it in with all the other vague answers you get.
