At least you broke the $5 tool, not the $40 injector like I did! The o-rings are probably rock hard. If that's the case, there is no good way to get them out, but if you spray the base of the injector with penetrating oil, and give it time to soak in, you can probably get the injector out, once you buy a new tool.
