Frank; Thank you very much for taking the time to give me such a detailed reply. To those of you in the Vanagon list who received a two or three sentence reply from me to your SOS please understand that I am trying to: squeeze in eating breakfast, get ready for work and type simultaneously. Time is at a premium.

As for the liquid/liquid heat exchanger, you have convinced me to retain it but I will most likely use off-the-shelf components for the oil cooler circuit. I have used Aero Quip plumbing before and liked the results. The steel tubing for two long runs to the front of the truck is a good idea.
