The air cooled Westy lovers who must live in Flatland, which is also where the temps never fall below 60 degrees, are responding! No one who lives in the real world could put up with one of these poor beasts. I have yet to see one that still has its doors, they've all been sucked off by passing trucks.

The WBX may be a piece of crap, but that's because it is just a mutant form of the air cooled 2.0 engine with more power to offset the short lifespan. At least the passing trucks only bulge my doors out a bit, they are all still attached!

Now, play nice. No reason to get mean. The heater in my '81 Westy works just fine. In fact, it will drive you out if you turn it up all the way. On the other hand, it doesn't make puddles all over my driveway. Have you noticed how many threads on this list have to do with keeping the wasserleaker cooling systems working? I detect a problem area.

Bill
