Ok, it doesn't need to be so quick anymore.
I'm dead in the water, thanks to my early-style engine carrier bars,
which have placed the rubber motor mounts about an inch too far forward.
I would be able to move the tranny to make room, if it wasn't a
syncro...
So, I need to either cut 'n re-weld, or find somebody who wants to
trade.
Dave Marshall says my carriers will work fine in a 2WD van. They have
the rubber mount connected to the carrier with a bolt that runs
parallel to the length of the van.
I need the carriers that mount the rubber part with a bolt that runs
perpendicular to the van.
Anybody wanna trade? I'll pay all shipping and throw in some beer...
