Chris,

Not clear whether you have a Westfalia with and existing tank on the drivers side ... but I think you do.

I'm in the process of doing the same thing.

Its a snap.

As you already noticed 2 of the 4 mounting bolts are already in place.

Holes for the other 2 are already in the right location.

Just need a couple more bolts.

However, rather than isolating it from the existing tank, I'd plumb them together.

Even though you stated "use it for camping (which is very seldom)" it would still be nice to have the extra total capacity.

Either way .... plumb a quick disconnect in and you are good to go for the BQ or heater. Just make sure they are the type that can be run off the type of LP system in these Vans (Pressure Issue).
