A lot less than VW Vanagons ever did. I sure wish you people with a jealousy complex would get off the anti SUV rhetoric. Your Vanagon puts out more pollution, uses more gas and is far less safe than most SUV's on the road. I have a Syncro and love it. Yet I don't admonish people who choose a vehicle to their liking. I agree it's ugly but you have to give Porsche and VW credit for engineering such a phenomenal vehicle. It is going to set a new standard. I wish they would loan me one to test drive on the trails of Moab.......

Had way too much coffee this morning. I need to go drive my Syncro on some rough terrain.
