when i tried video on my ibook with usb it was not very successful for capture or display. with laptops you also run into the problem of the bus. many laptops have very slow bus to add to the usb speed shortfall. i changed to firewire and had much better results but still not really up to speed. the next problem i ran into on laptops is the limited video support built into most lower end models. just not enough speed on the video. jimt On Sunday, Oct 6, 2002, at 09:04 America/Denver, Kevin Barry wrote:
