Hello all,

I recently acquired an '85 Westy, so I figured this would be the mailing list to subscribe to. It came from an insurance auction $600, it was flooded, the engine must have been submerged, because it's tight. So I'm probably going to be doing some sort of I-4 engine conversion. I've got a few 1.8s, a spare 2.0, and even an extra Corrado G60 motor. Other than not running the rest of the van seems to be in pretty good condition, the odometer reads 85k.

I'm in a wheelchair, so I need to put in a wheelchair lift (anybody got a used one around). I'm just wondering will this interfer with the back seat when it folds down into a bed.

The van is also an automatic, and I was wondering how reliable these are. They don't blow up every couple years like the ones in an Audi 5k?

Kenneth
