Almost certainly, but only because they'll sell a lot fewer. 5,000 pounds going 168 mph can do a lot more damage than 3,000 pounds going 65.

It's not jealousy for me. I can sleep in my Vanagon. What they hell would I do with a Porsche SUV? i do witsh I had that much money to burn, tho. ;)

Personally I just think the whole idea of a Porsche SUV is kind of laughable, a lot like that Cadillac SUV with the uselessly short pickup bed. It makes me wonder who would buy such a thing. What message are they trying to send, socially?
