Good post Pedro. If you don't like heavy winds be sure you never go from Dallas TX to Albuquerque NM. its nothing but winds and punky little semi mountains with horrendous cross winds in the valleys. There are also some 6% grades that will break your engine in real quick or break it down if you don't get a running start.

I did not reply to this threath before because I did not drive the van in windy conditions, until yesterday. It was a crazy windy day here in Montreal. So here it goes...

Last week, I went to Chris Turner's place to get a complete westafia roof cut at the window pillars, installed on a thule roof rack (the ones tall enough for a passenger van, not the super tall ones for westalia roofs).
