Hi Mark,

The best product for cleaning the interior of a Westy I have found is Marine Clean from the company that makes POR15. I have used it extensively in my '85 Westy and My '72 Bus. Since it is water based, you can dilute it to whatever strength you like for delicate surfaces, or go full strength if you are combating some serious filth. You can get more info at http://www.por15.com.

Hope this helps, Jay Brown '85 Westy '72 Hardtop Camper http://www.geocities.com/vwcamper72

Folks,

I have a "new" '91 Westy that didn't look like it had been cleaned since the '90s. The carpets and upholstery have been taken care of, now I'm on to the walls. The interior walls and ceiling appear to be covered in almost a type of wallpaper.
