These instructions worked perfectly for my 1987 Vanagon GL Westfalia camper. My stereo equipment and interior lights are now all powered by the aux battery with a 15 amp inline fuse near the aux battery positive terminal. Finally I can park and use these things for multiple days without draining the primary battery. Yewhew!

FWIW My next project is to purchase and install a power inverter and purchase a laptop to run DVD movies and California USGS Topographic Maps on CD-ROM for starters.
