Subject: Alternator warning light problem - THANK YOU !!!
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Thank you to everyone who posted advice in reply to my query about my Vanagon's alternator warning light.

I've decided to take the opportunity to upgrade my alternator from 45 amp to 90 amp, so the search is on. Fortunately, the Golf and Passat use the same design, albeit with a different pulley, so I should have several sources of used alternators to choose from.

Once again, thanks for all the advice I received on here or by email.

Best regards,

Tony '84 Vanagon Reimo
