Didn't someone on this list identify the screw on top of the thermostat housing(2.1 motor) as being a bypass for cold engines and not a bleeder screw? On the other point, I made a piece of old ash canoe gunwale into a throttle opening prop so I could be at both ends of the van at once. Cut several slits in one end for various engine speeds and a dimple in the other end to cradle the ball socket thingy.
