We are sailors and my husband builds boats, so we named our '85 Westy "landschiff" which is German for land-ship. Our '78 Transporter is called "Toaster" not only because of it's toasteresque shape, but my husband thinks it's a NASCAR and tries to race muscle cars with it. Our '68 Campmobile is currently called "For Sale" ( cheers to Stan W. for that one) However, I liked the names I had seen on the list like..."The Turd" (I wanted that one, but it was taken:()...and "Tardis"...but my van is brown not red... Tip: Think of combinations of suitable adjectives and go to www.babelfish.com (AltaVista's free translation site) and pick a language to convert your ideas to.... |
