Hi Mark, Mine's called "Vera Vanagon". That might not sound clever to you, but she lives in the UK where the 1980-91 VW minivans were called either "Transporters" or "Caravelles" with the occasional "Bus" or "Kamper". VW never sold them in the UK market as Vanagons, and neither did we ever get a Westfalia with the steering wheel on the right (wrong?) side, although a few used examples have been imported privately from Germany. Vera is the name of someone I used to know who may have had her faults, but was as true and reliable a friend as anyone I could ever wish to meet. Alas Vera passed away some years ago. I could not think of a name that was more apt to describe my 1984 Reimo Alaska camper conversion on a Transporter panel van, so Vera Vanagon she is. Best regards, Tony '84 Vanagon 1.9 WBX "Vera"
