This question has perennially come up. I just received a good size backorder from a previous group purchase of lugnuts. At the time I did this originally, this vendor flaked out and I had to source them from someone else. Now she has made good on her order and I have a couple of hundred. These are the ones which can be used on the Carat, Wolfsburg, and South African alloy wheels. They come on three sizes: Tall (and pimpy), Medium, and Short. Short is the closest to the factory size. But if you are using longer studs and like to but spacers on and off, I recommend the medium size. The Tall ones are ideal for those using deep socket Mercedes alloys. They will allow the bolts to show instead of being deep in the hole. If used on stock VW alloys, they can best be described as appearing to be on a pimp ride. ;) I also got a single set of black chrome medium lugnuts to try out. They look pretty cool compared to the chromies. Kinda gives your wheels that early VW look. They are identical to the other medium lugnuts but just finished in flat black instead of shiny chrome. Lugbolts are still coming. I don't know what I am getting. Six sets of tall locking lugnuts came in. But that's all for now. Anyway, the lugnuts are $2 each in sets of ten. If you have a Syncro you will need 20 of them. 2WD needs 10 nuts and 10 bolts unless you have the SA big brakes. In which case you will need 20 just like the Syncros. I am only doing this for a limited time. As anyone who has handled group buys, it can be a nightmare. The parts are here and ready for distribution. So if anyone wants/needs any and have not already been in communication with me about them, please pmail me with your needs.
