Well, you should at least wait until the thermostat opens! FAST is a relative term when dealing with Vanagons. Besides, I can't reach the throttle from the bleed bolt!

Jay I agree with you but the request was for a FAST bleed method. The 3000 rpm is needed to get ALL of the air out quickly. The whole procedure is 5 minutes tops. Yes, I forgot at add bleeding the thermostat housing and the rear seat heater. Larry
